World Vision Charity Gala 2025

Puente Romano Real Estate was proud to once again serve as sponsor for the annual World Vision Charity Gala. This star-struck charity event took place on Sunday, 17 August 2025, at our iconic Puente Romano Tennis Club. As the sun sets over the Mediterranean, the tennis courts will be transformed into an elegant summer stage where luxury meets purpose.

The annual gala is a central part of Puente Romano Marbella’s long-standing partnership with World Vision, a humanitarian organisation working to improve the lives of children, families and communities facing poverty, conflict and other serious challenges.

Since the partnership began in 2012, Puente Romano has helped World Vision reach more than two million children across Africa and Asia. Each August, the gala turns the Puente Romano Tennis Club into an elegant open-air setting where guests can enjoy dinner and entertainment while contributing to the charity’s work.

The 2025 gala highlights land regeneration in Ethiopia, supporting World Vision’s farming and food‑security work. Key initiatives include community-led efforts like Farmer‑Managed Natural Regeneration (FMNR) to restore degraded land, bolster resilience, and ensure long‑term food security for vulnerable populations.

By attending, guests enable local Ethiopian communities to reforest land, increase yields, and invest in their futures. Examples include helping local populations manage land better, how to harvest the benefit of the forest, modernising the collection of cattle fodder, harvest yield techniques, and improving honey production.
